Move! i Imagine 2020 – Arts and Climate Change.

Ideal by Jurišić and Reba is a performance for two female performers, a bunch of patriarchal semi-celebrities, and an unmade bed. The performance discusses the connections between our body, on the one hand, and our sexual, national and supranational identity, on the other hand. Jurišić and Reba follow in the footsteps of Goebbels, whose distinction between three "lives" of an individual - intimate, personal-public, and public - is employed here in order to interrogate the lives of smart, dead and immortal male figures. Using Petra Veber's unique visual solutions, Davor Herceg's music, and Marx's remark that a lot of work gets done in bed, Ideal aims at finding the ideal positions of bodies in relation to their ideological socialisation.

Leja Jurišić is a Slovenian choreographer, dancer and performer who graduated from the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. She is no stranger to the critique of social, economic and political distortion of personal and collective freedoms, perceives a human body as a powerful emancipatory mechanism of creating experiences of rebellion – both for dancer/dancers as well as the audience. It should also be mentioned that she boasts the title of the (last) Yugoslav national champion in artistic gymnastics. Her work has been presented in a number of theatres and festivals in Europe, the USA and Mexico. As a dancer she has collaborated with choreographers and directors such as Tim Etchells, Janez Janša and Meg Stuart.

Teja Reba works in the field of contemporary performing arts. Together with Leja Jurišić she is co-author of many duos, interventions, installations and performances (2008–2015). In 2013 they won the Ksenija Hribar Award, participated at U3 – the 7th triennial of contemporary art in Slovenia and Art+Biennale New York, participated in several editions of Gibanica, toured abroad and took part in the European projects Spider, A Space for Live Art, Identity.Move! and Imagine 2020 – Arts and Climate Change. Teja Reba also has worked as a co-author with Bara Kolenc and Loup Abramovici. As a performer and dancer she has collaborated with the director Janez Janša, the choreographer Yasmine Hugonnet and Forced Entertainment. She has been the artistic director of the association and international festival of contemporary arts, City of Women.
